Applicability

Curriculum relevant issues with two or more sides. Resources must be available to provide balanced information supporting all sides.

Limitations

Issues that defy resolution or lack data for consensus building. Some issues are inappropriate, too emotionally charged, or are too contentious for students to build a consensus.

Variations

The recommendation can take the form of, but is not limited to, written statements, multimedia presentations, or oral presentations.

Students can write personal opinion statements in addition to group recommendation.
